Founded in 1996, The Honeypot Children's Charity supports young carers aged 5-12 by creating happy memories and building brighter futures through residential respite breaks and ongoing outreach services.
In 2023, we opened our first Scottish Honeypot House in New Cumnock. Set within acres of beautiful countryside, it provides young carers with a safe, nurturing space where they can relax, have fun and simply enjoy being children, away from the pressures of caring for a loved one at home.
Our vision is that no young carer in Scotland misses out on a happy, fulfilling childhood. Through our respite breaks and support services, we improve children's social and emotional wellbeing, helping them build resilience, confidence and brighter futures.
With your support, we can continue to reach more young carers across Scotland, giving them the opportunity to take a break for their caring responsibilities, make lasting friendships and create memories that will last a lifetime.
